One of the founding partners of the firm, John D'Agostino has more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of real estate matters. He helps clients acquire, sell, finance and lease all types of property; acquire development and/or air rights; forms and counsels clients on joint ventures, partnerships, limited partnerships and limited liability companies; and counsels clients on real estate taxation, real estate disputes and litigation strategy.

Mr. D'Agostino has developed a special expertise in condominiums and cooperatives, including commercial, mixed-use and residential projects, including the conversion of tenanted residential buildings. For these clients, he has counseled on planning, development, formation and structuring, management, marketing and sales, as well as registration with applicable federal, state and local governmental agencies. Thanks to this concentration, he has gained a special expertise in related New York City real estate tax incentive programs, including the 421-a Partial Tax Incentive Program, the J51 Tax Exemption and Abatement Program and the Industrial Commercial Abatement Program.
